--ATTENTION EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN EL BAJIO--

2008 applications from educational institutions interested in participating in the U.S. - Mexico Training, Internships, Exchanges, and Scholarships (TIES) Partnership Initiative are currently being accepted.

Up to $250,000 will be awarded in the following areas:
• Strengthening Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Higher Education for  Rural Development
• Rule of Law
• Conservation of Biodiversity and Economic Growth
• English Language Education

The deadline for receipt of applications is June 20, 2008.
